To the residents of Wakayama Prefecture

(1) Do you know an application called “Safety tips”?
"Safety tips" is a free application developed under the supervision of Japan Tourism Agency, and it notifies a user of information　and warnings on earthquakes, tsunami, weather, etc. issued in Japan. 
The application is available in 15 languages including Japanese, English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Tagalog.

(2) Support measures related to COVID-19
　The national and prefectural governments offer various support measures for those who are affected by the impact of COVID-19 and have difficulties in maintaining their livelihood or business. 

Examples: 
- Business Recovery Grant (Grant for business operators whose sales decreased considerably due to the impact of COVID-19)
- Temporary Loan Emergency Funds (Interest-free loan for those suffering financial difficulties due to income decrease)
- Housing Security Benefit (Rent subsidy for those who left their job or closed their business in the past two years or those who are in the similar difficult situation due to income decrease resulting from business shutdown, etc.)
