◆ COVID-19 information

If you have a fever or cough, you may be infected with COVID-19.
Please refrain from going to work or school, and consult with a doctor. 
*Please refrain from going to work or school also when your family member has a fever or cough.
If you do not have such symptoms but are worried about infection, please take a PCR or antigen test. 
*Tests are available for free at some facilities such as pharmacies until February 28.

*If you have any cold-like symptoms such as a cough or sore throat, please consult with a clinic, etc. instead of taking these free tests.
*If you are determined to be a close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case by Public Health Center, you cannot take these free tests.
*Depending on facilities, test kits may be out of stock, or you may need to wait for a long time for testing. It is recommended to check with the facility before you visit.




Please refrain from non-essential and non-urgent outings
Wakayama Prefectural Government requests all the residents of the prefecture to refrain from going out for non-essential and non-urgent reasons as COVID-19 infections have been spreading.
Please refrain as much as possible from visiting areas where infections are widespread such as Osaka Prefecture.
