Heat stroke is a condition in which the body's thermoregulatory system does not work properly due to prolonged exposure to high temperature and humidity.
Heat stroke can occur not only outdoors but also indoors when you are not doing anything particular. In severe cases, it can cause emergency transport to a hospital or even death.
It is important to have proper knowledge about heat stroke and pay careful attention to changes in your physical condition.
Also, take care of people around you to prevent them from suffering from health problems caused by heat stroke.
In particular, you should be careful when "Heat Stroke Alerts" are issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

To prevent heat stroke
(1) Take in sufficient amounts of water and salt.
(2) When indoors, adjust the temperature with a fan or air conditioner and check the room temperature frequently.
(3) When outdoors, wear a parasol or hat and rest appropriately under the shade.
(4) Wear breathable, moisture-absorbent and quick-drying clothes to avoid heat accumulation in the body. In addition, cool your body using coolants, ice, cold towels, etc.
