Water Supply Recovery


For those living in the areas above (to the north of ) the Kinokawa River in Wakayama City


The following are the estimated dates for when water supply will recover 
・　Water to distributing reservoir: late night of Friday, October 8th 
・　Water to households: early morning on Saturday, October 9th 

①Before water supply recovers 
・Time for the water pressure to return to normal will vary depending on the region. Please make sure to turn off all the faucets in the bathroom, kitchen and so on. 
・If you have water heater, toilet or any appliance that has a tank, or has a water tank at home, please make sure to read the instructions carefully, and turn off the valve or follow the instructions. 

②After water supply recovers 
・Please avoid using too much water than you need. The clearing of muddy water will be delayed if water usage is too concentrated when the water supply recovers. 
・Turn on a faucet without filter first to check if the water is clear. 
・Make sure the water is clear before you turn back on the valve for washing machine, water heater and so on. Muddy water will cause damages to these appliances.
(Be careful with older faucets and washing machines since they break easily).
