◆ J-Alert (National Early Warning System)
The Fire and Disaster Management Agency has established a system called J-Alert (National Early Warning System) to immediately provide residents with emergency information such as ballistic missile information, Earthquake Early Warnings, and Tsunami Warnings.
Emergency information from J-Alert can be received in multiple languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, etc.) using "Safety tips", an application providing disaster information developed under the supervision of Japan Tourism Agency. Please be sure to install “Safety tips" so that you can receive J-Alert information on your mobile phone.
