◆ Do you know a free legal consultation service for foreign residents?
With the cooperation of lawyers and other specialists, a free legal consultation service is provided at Wakayama International Exchange Center. In this service, lawyers contracted with Houterasu (Japan Legal Support Center, the general information center for legal troubles established by the national government) respond to consultation on civil, domestic and administrative cases, such as human right issues including power harassment, labor issues and divorce issues (except for criminal cases).
Houterace also accepts telephone consultation at any time. These services are available in multiple languages (including Japanese, English, Chinese, Filipino, and Vietnamese).
