◆ Call 119 in case of medical emergency, injury, or fire
If you need an ambulance or a fire engine to be sent in case of medical emergency, injury or fire, please call 119. Your call will be directed to the Fire Department. In case of medical emergency or injury, please tell the operator “it’s a medical emergency”. In case of fire, please tell the operator “it’s a fire”. Then, tell the operator the location of the emergency. In addition, in case of medical emergency or injury, please clearly and concisely answer the operator’s questions as to who is sick/injured, what is the symptom, when the symptom started, and so on. Finally, please give your name and telephone number. 

* If you speak a foreign language on the phone, the Fire Department will respond to your call through a telephone interpretation service (English, Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, etc.).
